October the 4th & 5th 2019 Friday 4th: Youth NightOasis Church, South Street, Harborne7:30-9:30pm

Artistic performances and short films/presentation about the importance of the arts/ mini creative workshops. Basically, a big push for the arts, with a leaning towards film in particular.

£5 pp (or subsidised by churches)

 Saturday 5th: Filmmaking WorkshopCentral House, 13 Ravenhurst St, Digbeth, B12 0HD11am-5pm

A series of practical and inspiring training sessions with experienced film making practitioners. for people with experience and without.

£20 pp (or subsidised by churches)

Followed by a free meal together plus artist discussion with out creatives in sputnik.

  How to get involved?This is how you get your young people involved with this:- Bring your youth group to Sputnik Youth Night. You will need to bring 1 youth worker per 8 young people.- Advertise the film making workshop to your young people and encourage interested individuals to fill in the application forms (to be handed in by 1st September)

There is a £100 fee per church to be involved in this weekend (on top of any optional extra subsidy you may like to give to lessen the cost to your young people).

What are the churches / young people paying for?

The costs are split between general expenses and paying the artists involved in the weekend. We believe this is a great opportunity to encourage our young people to develop in their creativity, while learning how their creative gifts can be used to build the Kingdom of God.
